Al Mouj Muscat
(The Wave Muscat)

The Wave Muscat (Al Mouj Muscat) is the first mixed-use master planned waterfront community in Oman. Outdoor spaces form an attractive network of green open space throughout the community.

Verdaus designed the public realm for the Cultural Precinct (Plot D17), The Marina Village and streestscapes and community courtyards for residential plots P4, P5, P67 and V24

Qantab Village Public Realm

Qantab is a traditional fishing on the Omani coast. The ship building yard on the beach built the "Jewel of Muscat", a replica of the vessel known as the Belitung Shipwreck, a 9th Century Arab merchant vessel, discovered in Indonesia, 5000km from the Omani coast. Design proposals for the public spaces were to reduce the dominance of cars, increase shading with trees, create a new community cafe, and protect sensitive flood-prone houses.
