The Royal Opera House Muscat was our second commission with the Government of the Sultanate of Oman. At the time of winning this project, our design for the Majlis Oman (Parliament House) was well underway. Naturally we were pleased to be appointed by the Government for two prestigious projects. Although the two projects were similar in terms of national standing, the Opera House called for a greater variety of more intimate spaces.

Sohar University
The master plan for Sohar University will expand the campus to accommodate 12,000 students. Our design introduced order to the layout of open spaces based on Islamic landscape design principles. We introduced a reed bed system to treat all the university's waste water and supply the irrigation system for lawns, planting beds and trees.
Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Visitor Centre
A new urban plaza with formal tree planting to create shade for visitors and frame views of the new glass domes to the visitor centre for the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque.
