Dubai Hills Estate is a residential community set around an 18-hole championship golf course. The centrepiece of that community is the clubhouse.
From its position on a low hilltop, the clubhouse overlooks the golf course. Enriching the hillsides around it are generous plantings of flowing grasses (Pennisetum setaceum) and native trees (Prosopis cineraria, Acacia arabica). The overall composition creates the character of a dry grassland landscape.
From its position on a low hilltop, the clubhouse overlooks the golf course. Around it, generous plantings of tall clumping grasses (Pennisetum setaceum) flow in waves as the breezes move across the hillside. Punctuating the monochromatic silver-green coloured slopes is the dark foliage of native trees (Prosopis cineraria and Acacia arabica).
