Damac Hills Public Realm

Our brief was to come up with solutions for activating almost half a kilometre of street frontage along a new development in Damac Hills.

One of those solutions was to create an easily recognisable landmark: a tall glue-laminated timber feature on the corner, which marks the beginning of the Damac Hills Walk.

The use of timber continues throughout the walk, giving the street a consistent look and feel. Among the other landscape elements that feature timber are pergolas to the outdoor dining areas, integrated seating around the hotel reflection pool, a large shading element of a children’s playground and street furniture.
